Nissan Juke-R takes on Supercars in Dubai
The Juke with the heart of a GT-R – the Nissan Juke-R – takes on a Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes SLS AMG in Dubai. We’re not entirely sure how the Nissan Juke-R – the love child of a Juke and a GT-R – ended up in Dubai pitted in a race against a selection of the world’s best supercars – but it did. Let’s call it serendipity.

Victor Muller is seeking a €600 million loan from a Bank in China to allow Saab to survive and circumvent GM’s objection to Chinese ownership. We’re not sure if this is ‘Plan B’ or whether we’re way beyond that now. But the latest ‘Save Saab’ pitch from Victor Muller is to acquire a €600 million loan from a bank in China to save Saab.
A production version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Mitsubishi has already had a couple of stabs at a plug-in hybrid Outlander EV, with the PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and then again with the imaginatively named PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show. But now we’re about to get the production version.
